At Thompson Counseling, we strongly believe that therapy is for everyone and strive to provide a safe, warm, and empathetic space for people to process their stories. Our therapists specialize in supporting women and their partners in the reproductive and through the parenting years. From perinatal therapy to parent-child interaction therapy, parenting of children with special needs, and all throughout your parenthood journey – our practice is here for you.

We also enjoy treating individuals of all ages, unrelated to parenthood. Our therapists see children, teens, and adults who may be experiencing difficult life transitions, stress management, anxiety, depression, grief, etc.

    Supportive & compassionate therapy for women and their partners during the reproductive years, prenatal through postpartum.

  • Parent-Child Interaction Therapy

    Evidence-based treatment for parents and their young children struggling with various behavior concerns at home and/or school.

  • Individual Therapy

    Individualized treatment for children, teens, and adults addressing a multitude of concerns through a person-centered, strength-based approach.

  • Caregiver/Parent Support

    Supportive & compassionate therapy for caregivers/parents of children with medical, mental, developmental or behavioral diagnoses.

    (Specialized training in Autism Support)

  • Family Therapy

    Treatment for the entire family system, aimed at enhancing the function of the family unit and promoting effective communication.

  • Discounted Therapy

    Therapeutic services offered by our graduate level intern at a discounted fee. Fee determined by a financial questionnaire (no income report). Limited slots available.
